Local Area Agreement
The Local Area Agreement (LAA) was the action plan of Hartlepool's Community Strategy and was in place from 2006 - 2011. The agreement was signed by central government, Hartlepool Borough Council and local service providers.
The LAA set out targets that partners agreed to work together to meet. These included supporting business and securing more jobs, improving health and wellbeing, increasing skills and qualifiactions, improving housing and community safety.
