Rift House NAP

The Rift House neighbourhood encompasses the majority of the Rift House ward and has a resident population of approximately 4,800 people living in 2,373 households. 

The area has good community facilities including the Masefield Centre (formerly known as the NDNA Building), Kingsley School Children's Centre and Browning Avenue Baptist Church Hall.  The ORB Centre at Oxford Road Baptist Church, St. Matthew's Hall, Summerhill Visitors Centre and Brierton Community Sports Centre also serve the community, although they are just outside of the boundary.  Local residents also have access to a variety of shops located on Catcote Road and nearby Elwick Road.

Hartlepool Sixth Form College, English Martyrs RC School and Sixth Form College plus Rift House and Kingsley Primary Schools are located within the area, alongside St. Columba, Browning Avenue Baptist and Oxford Road Baptist Churches.  The area is bordered by the Burn Valley Gardens and Waverley Terrace Allotments and, is served by several active Residents Associations operating across the area.
