Headland NAP

The Headland neighbourhood is situated within the St Hilda ward and has a resident population of approximately 3,525 people living in 1,800 households.  The area has a good range of local facilities, including shopping parades at Brunswick and Northgate and community facilities such as the Borough Hall, Headland Sports Centre and the Heugh Gun Batttery.  St Bega's RC and St Helen's Primary Schools are both situated in the area, alongside local churches of St Hilda's overlooking the Town Square, the Baptist Church in Regent Street and St Mary's RC Church on Durham Street.  There are also a number of active residents' associations and community/voluntary groups within the area such as the Hartlepool Headland Local History Group and the Headland Carnival Committee.  For further information on how to get involved with the Headland NAP please contact North Neighbourhood Manager Karen Oliver on 523680 or by e-mail at Karen.oliver@hartlepool.gov.uk
