Information for Board members

Board Member Forms
As a Board Member it will be necessary for you to complete the forms below on an annual basis in order for the Partnership Support Team to keep your details up to date.

Terms of Reference
This document sets out the Terms of Reference for the Hartlepool Partnership and covers its structure, remit, membership and operation.

Skills & Knowledge Agenda
The Hartlepool Partnership recognises that bringing about long term improvements in the most deprived areas will require organisations and people to adapt and develop at every level. Roles and responsibilities are both challenging and demanding, and individuals need the right skills for the job. The success of the work of the Hartlepool Partnership is dependant on the skills, knowledge and experience held by its members.

It would be good for you, as a Board Member, to think about what you expect from the Partnership as well as what the Partnership expects from you by reading the Skills & Knowledge Agenda and by completing the questionnaire.

Hartlepool Partnership & Community Network Protocol
This Protocol sets out the relationship between the Hartlepool Partnership and the Hartlepool Community Network. It provides a framework to strengthen working relationships between the two partners to secure quality community and voluntary sector involvement in the Hartlepool Partnership. The Protocol sets out how the Community Network can contribute to the work of the Hartlepool Partnership and how the Hartlepool Partnership and its associated Theme Partnerships can support the Community Network.

Hartlepool Compact
The Hartlepool Compact is an agreement between Hartlepool Borough Council, local service providers and commissioners of services and the voluntary and community sector.
The purpose of the Compact is to set out codes of practice and terms of engagement that organisations will agree to and more importantly sign up to. This will ensure that all partners are aware of and can be responsible for the level of engagement expected from them and what they expect from others when working in partnership. This mutual agreement between partners will improve their relationaships and benefit communities within Hartlepool.
